1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing the website of Meshoter AS ("we", "us", "the Agency") and booking any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Service

Meshoter is a tour operator and travel agency registered in Norway (Org. nr. 926 345 678 MVA), specialising in guided tours, accommodation bookings, transport arrangements, and custom travel itineraries within Norway. We act as an intermediary between the customer and end suppliers (hotels, transport operators, activity providers), whose specific conditions also apply.

3. Bookings & Payments

All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation. A deposit of 20% (or full payment for bookings within 30 days of departure) is required to secure your reservation. Prices are quoted in euros (EUR) and include Norwegian VAT where applicable. We accept payment by major credit/debit cards and bank transfer. A written confirmation will be issued once payment is received.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellation policies depend on the specific tour and suppliers. The following standard schedule applies unless otherwise stated at booking: cancellations more than 45 days before departure — full refund minus a €95 administration fee; 45–15 days — 50% refund; less than 15 days — no refund. Certain activities (e.g. aurora chases, dog sledding) may be non-refundable. If we cancel a tour for reasons within our control, you will receive a full refund or an equivalent alternative.

5. Customer Responsibilities

You are responsible for providing accurate personal and travel information (names, passport details, dates of birth, dietary requirements). Any errors may result in additional charges or cancellation without refund. It is your responsibility to verify visa, vaccination and documentation requirements for travel to Norway. Adequate travel insurance (including medical and cancellation cover) is strongly recommended and, for certain activities, required.

6. Changes to Services

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any service, temporarily or permanently, with or without prior notice. Itineraries may be adjusted due to weather, safety considerations, or operational constraints. If we make significant changes to a confirmed booking, we will notify you as soon as possible and offer an equivalent alternative or an appropriate refund in accordance with applicable law.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — text, images, logos, graphics and code — is the property of Meshoter or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Reproduction, in whole or in part, without prior written authorisation is prohibited.

8. Limitation of Liability

Meshoter acts as an intermediary and is not liable for failures, delays, damages or losses caused by end suppliers or by force majeure (natural events, strikes, pandemics, etc.). Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by Norwegian and EU consumer law. We are not liable for personal injury or loss of personal belongings during activities unless caused by our proven negligence.

9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Norwegian law. Any disputes arising from the interpretation or execution of these Terms shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bergen, Norway, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rights.
